When Christina initially reached out to me I remember running and telling my husband I was so excited because an artist emailed me about shooting her wedding! I majored in Studio Art and Photography in college, so art is such an important aspect of my life alongside photography. I rarely meet other artists, so the idea of working with a REAL artist was so exciting! She’s like super good (I follow you on Instagram Christina)! Total side note….I’m just now realizing that we managed to not talk about art at all during the engagement session, so we need to get together and do that Christina!

When I met Brandon and Christina in person for their engagement session, they were both just so in love and full of excitement. Engagement sessions are such a blessing when couples are as excited as I am, so needless to say I had a great time gabbing back and forth about wedding details! Their wedding will be at the Saint Paul College Club, and I am literally biting at the bit to shoot at such a gorgeous venue! Luckily the wedding is only a few months away so I don’t have to wait long!

When we first chatted Christina had sent me some photos of their travels to Florence and expressed her love for the feel and colors of the trip, so when I started editing these and realized there was a European vibe with the fountains in the background I WAS SO EXCITED! I think this is a far reach from what Florence looks like, but I’m pretty sure it’s the best you can do in Minnesota so I’m happy! I am over the moon with these images, especially since it rained and was dark and gray for five days straight before the session! I can’t wait for the wedding to celebrate with these two and their family and friends!
