Hey there! I'm Mattea - avid gardener, sunshine addict, and travel lover! I'm a big history buff, and absolutely love learning about the past! I envy the days where things were simpler. There are so many trends nowadays, and I'm a firm believer that there's nothing better than a classic. Those beliefs have shaped my photography style, and push me to capture clean, meaningful images that won't fade with the next big thing. If there's one thing I've learned from photographing over 150 weddings, it's that timeless NEVER goes out of style! I've made it my mission to provide couples with classic, emotion-filled images that tell the story of their wedding day exactly how it is and never how the current trends dictate it should be. There's nothing more beautiful than your love story, just how it is, and I'm here to celebrate that with you!

I'm a wife and momma to two boys that I absolutely adore! My husband and I love to travel and visit somewhere new (in the U.S. and outside of it) every year. We are only three states away from visiting every state in the U.S., and hope to cross those off our list soon! Our little boys already have the same sense of adventure as we do, and I couldn't be happier about that if I tried! Art has always been my passion, and I've always been drawn to the simpleness of the way life used to be before the crazy world we now live in now. Capturing authentic moments that have meaning has fueled my soul and created a brand that provides timeless, emotion-filled images that families can cherish for generations.
I attended Northern Arizona University and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Photography and Studio Art in 2014, and a week after graduation decided to move to Minnesota to photograph weddings somewhere green! I know, I know, who would move to Minnesota from Arizona!? It was a crazy decision, but ended up being the best adventure so far! Over the past seven years I've photographed over 150 weddings in 6 different states, and have been lucky enough to be published by The Knot, Forever Bride, and Minnesota Bride. In 2018 I decided my soul needed the desert back in its life, so I expanded my business to Arizona. I now photograph 20-25 weddings annually between the Midwest & Arizona, and couldn't be happier with the life I live.
