Private Residence – Eagan, MN

When Kailey and I started talking about the engagement session, she mentioned that her family had a piece of property with a barn on it and wondered if that should be an option for the location of their engagement session. The answer was a big YASSS! And let me tell you, this place had the dreamiest light!! Seriously one of the most beautifully lit locations ever, which I know doesn’t mean a lot to most of you, but to me it was magical!! I could photograph in that light for days, and left the session so happy we had such gorgeous light!

These two were naturals, and Matt was ecstatic to be able to love up on his girl the whole session! It was a HOT summer day. The kind that’s just thick and muggy, where there’s a haze because there’s so much hot moisture. Let me just say that these two champed through the whole session and didn’t get bothered by it whatsoever! I’m sure I was over there looking like a hot mess getting all excited about the great light, but these two stayed graceful the whole time! And can we all just take a minute to appreciate Kaileys hair?! It managed to stay intact the whole session somehow despite it being crazy humid, and is seriously just beautiful!

I get to work with the best couples in the world and can’t wait for their wedding in April!
